In February 2003 we thought we were taking a quick weekend trip to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival for President’s Day weekend. Then the blizzard hit the mid-atlantic, shutting airports down for days. We ended up stuck in Miami for 8 days, unable to get a flight back to DC. Had to move hotels to Miami Beach... absolutely tragic... |
